Cassie Chong '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Cassie Chong. I am a Junior at Mililani High School in Honolulu, Hawaii. I have a passion for running and have been running cross country and track competitively since 6th grade. I also enjoy competing in various road races here in Hawaii. Camaraderie is what I love most about running. I have met many of my best friends through training and competing. In addition to running, I have a 4.0 GPA. School is very important to me and I also have participated in a qualified “National History Day” project. To add, I am apart  of the Mililani High School varsity swimming team and have been named girls’ team captain for the 2022-2023 school year. I am also team captain for the 2022 cross country team. Being a student athlete has taught me how to manage my time and balance out school and sports. I feel like I figured out who I am as a person while competing all these years. I hope too bring positive energy to any team I get placed on.
