Hi! My name is Avery Navest and I am a sprinter and multi's athlete from Boise, Idaho. I am a senior at Timberline High School. I am 17 years old and have been running track since I was 10 years old. The past 2 summers I was fortunate to participate in the AAU Junior Olympic Games, where I competed in the heptathlon and individual events. Earlier this year, I got my first All-American title at Nike Indoor Nationals in the mixed 4x400m relays and I also competed in high jump, shot put and the 4x200m. My 4x200m team also earned All-American honors at 2023 Nike Outdoor Nationalswhere I ran the 100, 200, and 4x100m. 2022-2023 was my first indoor season with my club team, Idaho Dash. Outside of the heptathlon in club, I compete in the 100m, 200m, shot put, high jump, 4x100m relay, 4x200m relay and 4x400m relay. I am very devoted in the classroom, just as much as I am on the track. I am very committed to my goal of continuing my track career through college. In my 2022 track season, I broke 4 school records in the 4x100m and the 4x200m and during my 2023 season I broke my school's record for girls shot put and the 200m. I also was named a Team Captain and Women's Athlete of the year my junior year. I believe I can be a huge asset to any team, not just in helping to earn points, but as being a good teammate. Feel free to reach out any time. Thank you!
