I started running when I was 13 and I loved it ever since. When I started I knew I was fast, but I wanted to be faster. To be faster, I needed to work harder and put my all in the practices. Then, I would see my results in the races. Running at the college level would teach me many things, help me reach my full potential, and would be an overall great experience.
I am a good team leader and will run wherever the team or coach needs me. I have learned to work hard in practices. I am very coachable and not afraid to communicate with my coaches.
I have maintained a high GPA in my studies. I take classes that challenge me and allows me to push myself. I do extracurricular activities to help the school and to help me grow as a person.
I would like to attend a college that will help me reach my full potential, both running and in my studies. In the end, I want to make my friends, coaches, family, and myself proud
