Hello, my name is Kennedi Copeland. I began running track in 8th grade, and it is my goal to continue to be the best I can be in this sport. I have continued to PR year after year and I look forward to continuing to raise the bar of my performance for both myself and my high school and summer track teams. I have been fortunate to qualify for the AAU Junior Olympics all 3 years that I've participated in summer track. It is an honor to compete amongst the best in the country! I also won Female Track MVP at the 2014 Helen Scott Owens Season Finale Championship Invitational. I have been athletic since a young age when I was a gymnast for several years, culminating with winning State in 2022. However, my passion for Track began to outweigh my passion for gymnastics, so in 2023, I decided to put 100% of my time and energy into Track. I desire to continue my passion for track at a university that can benefit from my skill set and dedication to this sport. I do realize that academics comes first, so I've worked very hard to ensure I maintain good grades and will continue to strive for excellence in both academics and track during my Junior and Senior years of High School. I have the ability to focus as an individual athlete, but I also ensure that I am a supportive teammate. I am very dedicated and passionate about track and look forward to competing at the college level in the future.
