Personal Statement

My name is Cienna, but people call me Cici! I love the game of soccer and work extremely hard to be better everyday. I have a bigger/stronger body size than most forwards, but I like that because people think I am not as fast as I am. I have learned how to use my strong body to my advantage and I have been told by college coaches that I have exceptional touch on the ball as well as great field vision...I think that's because I also play basketball and there are many similarities in reading the court/field. This travel club season, my coach has been moving me to center back and I actually love playing defense as well! I am an honors student in the classroom and having a mom who played Division 1 sports, really pushes me to attempt to do the same!

Played with the Aces from 20015-2020. I was always moved up 2 age groups due to my ability and speed. I played goalie and forward while with this team and when I was 12, they had me play with the boys team as well. I went to some elite camps and they advised me to move to a more advanced club which is how I got to Legacy SC

Cienna scored 90+ and above in all categories scored by College Coaches. They praised her coachability, physical body strength and explosiveness, her great field vision, and she scored highest in her ball control/touch and overall passing ability. A couple colleges have kept in touch with her since the camp as well.

Personal Training Sessions with Louis Martinez

Louis was a national Team player in Mexico and now trains high school aged girls and boys. Cienna has been training with Louis for 2 years now during the summer months and fall. He, specifically, concentrates and speed, agility, and conditioning while incorporating ball skills and a lot of shooting on goal.
