Madeline Bialko '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello!  My name is Madeline Bialko and I attend John Hersey High School, in the Class of 2025.  I am a dedicated and hard working student who enjoys running.  I enjoy competing in cross country and track at my high school, with a focus on long distance as my specialty.  I excel in cross country and am looking at opportunities to compete at the collegiate level.  I have been a core member of the varsity, state qualifying cross country teams at Hersey.  In my senior year, I have taken a significant step forward with my performance, lowering my PR's in Cross Country by nearly a minute (17:17 for 3 miles) and have been honored with being awarded All-State.

I am passionate for mid and long distances, and am extremely dedicated to the training and guidance my coaches give to me.  I enjoy being a part of a team, and have valued the great friendships I have built with my teammates.  I have also been very fortunate to have wonderful coaches who have pushed me and supported me along the way.  l enjoy competing to contribute to our team's successes, and am willing to whatever is necessary for the best for my team.  I was raised with the premise of hard work and respect for others at the foundation for everything I do, from academics to athletics.  I look forward to the opportunities that may present to me as my running career progresses.  Thank you!
