Cameron Pettigrew '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cameron Pettigrew, I am a rising junior and currently run track for the varsity track team at my school. This past year i took 4th place in the IHSA state finals for High Jump, and this summer I was the National Junior Olympic Champion in the 400m dash with a time of 54.89. I am a hard and dedicated worker and am willing to put all, and more of the necessary time and effort required to run track in college. I would love the oportunity to run in college as it would allow me to both grow as a student and an athlete. When i go to school I would like to be at a college or university that is located on the West Coast, or anywhere where the climate is warm, and where I would be near a semi-major or major city. It is also very important to me that the school that I attend would have a strong academic program as well as a strong track program, because academics (in my opinion) are the most important aspect in choosing a school.
