Alexa Novak '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Alexa Novak. I am a Junior at Glenbard West High School in Glen Ellyn, IL. 

I am interested in running Woman's Cross Country and Track at the collegiate level. A little bit about me is I ran Varsity Cross Country my Freshman and Sophomore year at Glenbard West High School. I was a travel soccer player from early age until high school. I played soccer my Freshman year; however, I was recruited by my teammates and coaches to run Track for the first time as a Sophomore and had an amazing inaugural Track season this past year. 

Some highlights were qualifying in two events at IHSA 3A state meet: the 1600M and 4 x 800 relay. I had PRs at State with a time of 5.07 at Prelims in the 1600M and my 4 x 800 relay team earning 4th place in State at Finals. My split was 2.18.

I am a compassionate teammate, hard worker and dedicated to my academic and athletic career.
