Lucy Fernandez '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lucy Fernandez. I am currently a junior (class of 2023) at Benet Academy in Lisle, Illinois. I have been an athlete my whole life in a variety of sports. It wasn’t until eighth grade that I found a passion for running track. Due to covid cancellations, sophomore year was my first opportunity to run on my high school track team. Since last year was an abbreviated season, I am very excited to see what the current season holds for me and I am looking forward to setting some new personal bests. What sets me apart from other track athletes is my versatility and ability to contribute to my team in a variety of events. My goal is to find a college that allows me to grow both academically and athletically.
