Julia Niemeyer '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi I'm Julia Niemeyer and I am a senior attending Richards High School in Illinois! I participate in basketball, volleyball, and track & field. My main focus has been track and field but I love the other sports as well. In my studies at school, my favorite subject is math. I feel I have the most success in this class and would like to continue to study math and possibly pursue a career in this field.

In the athletics world, I feel as though I have some sort of success at whatever I try and love mostly everything I do. I have pride in everything I partake in and try to do my best to change whatever I can to have more success. I feel as though I am a very coachable athlete and I'd be flexible with how you would want me to succeed and also how you want me to help others succeed. I love supporting others in their success' and  feel as though that may be the most important part of being a team player. I love being at the finish line for my other teammates and cheering them on as they go. I love the team aspect of sports as well because having people with similar interests as you makes it easy to become close friends. Track and field has been my favorite sport and I hope I can continue to play in college alongside people with similar aspirations and pride in their team.
