Jayden Lake '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Jayden Lake and I am a senoir at Hononegah High School. I joined track in 8th grade, and I must say that in the short time I've been in track, I have fallen in love with the sport. Track has helped me build and strengthen relationships. It has taught me how to be resilient,as well as, time management. My goal is to compete in the 400, the 4x400 relay, and the 4x100 relay at a college level while also pursuing my dream of becoming a teacher. Competing makes me feel a sense of acomplishment and allows me a chance to grow together with my team. Track may be a sport that is not played as a team but being supportive, cheering people on and having a positive attitude is incredibly important to me. I am passionate about learning both in school and on the field, therefore, I take advice from my coaches seriously and work hard to improve my performance. I am looking forward to the opportunity to continue my passion at a higher level.
