Personal Statement

As a 6th grader, I began throwing both the shot put and the discus. I immediately fell in love with Shot Put, but over the years, as I have received some great coaching, I have grown to love the discus as well. I enjoy competition and am always striving for my next personal record. In addition, I am a multi-sport athlete, playing volleyball and basketball.

Off the field, I enjoy working and being a part of my church youth group. I also carry a 4.1 GPA, ranking me at the top of my class. I hope to continue my athletic career in college and welcome the opportunity to talk with coaches about their programs.
