Lanae Crowe '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi coaches, my name is Lanaé Crowe, I will be graduating from Charlestown High School in 2021 and I am a thrower for the Track & Field Team.

I am a great candidate for your team because I work hard and focus on different aspects of my technique one at a time so that I can master that skill before moving forward. I am different from athletes because I keep my grades and attendance a very high priority. I have gotten all A's and 100% attendance throughout middle school and high school so far. I train with a private throws coach every Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday for about an hour and a half all year long.

I play four varsity sports including volleyball, basketball, track, and softball. Track has always had a special place in my heart because when I first tried it, I fell in love with the sport. I want to achieve the goal of competing at the next level . I started track when I was in 6th grade and have grown every year. I am very competitive and a strong person. During the 2019 season as a sophomore I have accomplished winning 9 out of 11 meets including Mid Southern Conference discus Champion, Jeffersonville Sectional discus champion, and placing 5th at Bloomington North Regionals.

 I am taking dual credit , honor,  and AP classes and by the time I graduate I will have an Associate Degree. I look forward to receiving emails and calls from coaches.
