Jalyn Zaccardelli '26 Recruiting Profile

After playing volleyball for years, track was just to stay in shape. I soon realized the love I had for the sport. The competitive atmosphere is everything. I love competing and pushing myself. I am currently a Castle High School sophomore. I competed in the USATF National Youth Indoor Championships in March of 2023. I placed 9th in the 400m for the 15-16 age group. I placed 2nd in high jump for the 15-16 age group. I am a USATF National Youth Indoor Championship All-American in high jump. One of my favorite hobbies is spending time in the weight room. I have a 3.5 G.P.A. and am enrolled in all honors classes. I strive to excel both athletically and academically. As a freshman, I competed on the varsity for Castle. I competed in multiple events and qualified for IHSAA regionals. Our team won sectionals and regionals and were the SIAC runner ups. I enjoy being in a team atmosphere and cannot wait for this upcoming season.
