My name is Morgan and I am entering my sophomore year of high school at Portage High School. I have been running since I was six years old and always hoped to run collegiate level since then. Being a part of a collegiate team is a big opportunity that could really change my life.
I aspire to learn as much as I can from coaches and other athletes as well as learn more about my abilities as a collegiate athlete. My goal everyday at practice is to train hard and work harder to help improve my running. I have a drive to be better day after day and reach my full potential. Even during my off-season I train and keep myself in the best shape possible and ready for next season. I am a very coachable runner and strive to be a herd worker on and off the race course.
When I'm in the classroom I study hard in order to maintain a steady 4.2 GPA. I spend my spare time volunteering at a local dog rescue center to help walk, play with, and bathe. Most of the classes I am currently enrolled in are honors classes and hope to be part of student council next year.
I hope to be able to go to a college where I can reach my full potential on the track and in the classroom. I aspire to find the college that is a good match for me and to match a high level of competition. I want to make my parents proud and friends proud of the person and runner I plan to be.
