Ciara O'Connor '27 Recruiting Profile

Ciara is still just 15, and won't graduate high school until 2027, but she loves track running, is very easy to coach.

She's good at school, but doesn't have a clear view yet on her academic ambitions as she's quite young. She has always had a desire to visit

the US and says she'd love to go to college there.

In terms of training, she trains 3-4 times per week and plus 1 gym/S&C sessions. She was 4th in All Ireland schools 800m in 2022 and 2023.

She has medalled at regional level in 200m, 400m and 800m in her age categories over the last few seasons. She is probably a 400/800 type runner

but  has also competed for her club team and school team in Cross Country.
