Over my high school career in Canada, I have worked hard to become a provincially, nationally and internationally ranked athlete in the 60m hurdles, 100m hurdles and 200m. My biggest accomplishments this year were being selected for Team Canada to run at the Jamaica Invitational and at the Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires. In Jamaica, I ran a personal record of 13.75 in the 100m hurdles and our relay team broke a Canadian U18 record. I hold records in 60mh and 80mh in Ontario and high school records in 200m and 80mh. My current training group includes five athletes who have competed in the World Championship games. Please go to this site to see some of my races.

In addition to my athletics, I am equally proud of my academic results. I have been able to keep an average of approximately 92% throughout my post-secondary education. I am an excellent student with my highest marks in maths, languages, music and sciences. I will be taking the SAT in the spring of 2019. I also belong to the school band, basketball and volleyball team.
I wish to continue my athletic goals by attending an University that has high standards in athletics and academics. I'd like to reach my full potential as an athlete by continuing to receive elite coaching, but also graduate with a degree that allows me the flexibility to have a successful and meaningful career.
