Sofia Vidak '23 Recruiting Profile

With regard to the sort of things that I’ve achieved in sport over the last few years, here’s some highlights:

• Selected for Team Scotland, competed at international level for the first time in 2021
• Selected to represent Scotland at UK School Games and SIAB
• 1^st Scottish Nationals 100m Under 17 2021
• 1^st Scottish Nationals 300m Under 17 2021
• 1^st Scottish Under 20 National running as an Under 17 400m
• 1^st in Manchester International 4x400m and broke Scottish record that’s stood for 20 years
• 4^th UK School games 2021 300m
• 3^rd SIAB 2021 300m
• 2^nd in 4x300m at SIAB and broke Scottish record
• 4^th British Championships 300m
• 3^rd place in 300m at indoor Scottish Schools AA Championships 1^st year under 17
• 1^st Scottish Championships February 2022 u20 400m
• Invited to run at British Senior event February 2022 obtained PB of 55.55 (indoor)and now 6^th in UK 

My future plans, in addition to making it as a professional athlete, reaching World Championship and Olympic level standard and inspiring others along the way; I plan to continue with my training and to qualify and participate in:

• Loughborough International 22^nd May 2022
• Mannheim International 2^nd – 3^rd July 2022
• 2022 World Athletics World U20 Championships 2^nd – 7^th August 2022, Cali, Columbia

After this I am looking to develop and train at University either in England or America.
