Nya Browne '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nya Browne and I have always been involved in sports. I fell in love with track and field around the age of ten and since then, I have been working extremely hard to get to where I am now. My determination and consistency are two of the main reasons I have been able to succeed in this sport and I think these two traits can be beneficial on any sports team.  Currently, I attend one of the most prestigious schools here in Barbados and I believe my ability to not just manage both athletics and academics, but also consistently hold them at a high standard, sets me apart from many others. For that reason, I would consider myself a well rounded student athlete since many persons aren't able to balance a sport, school work and a healthy social life.  After this program, I wish to further my education abroad in hopes of achieving better opportunities than what is offered in my country as well as receive knowledge, assistance and direction from more experienced coaches in an effort to become a better athlete.
