My name is Eliza Jex, and I am currently a student at McPherson High School, class of 2028. I participate in cross country and track and field, and I am eager to continue my athletic pursuits at the collegiate level while pursuing a degree in zoology or biology. AwardsIn 2025, I contributed to my school's debate team, which became the state runner-up in the four-speaker category. I was the only freshman selected for the highly competitive two-speaker format. Through hard work with my teammates, I achieved a ninth-place finish in the state competition, a defining moment in my early debate career.
