Throughout high school I had been on the fence about if I wanted to do track in college, until about the spring of 2016. I had recently torn my ACL playing volleyball a few months before, and while sitting out for the track season, I realized how much I actually enjoyed running track. I worked hard over the summer to ensure that I would make it back for volleyball season, and as that is winding down, I am excited to begin training for my last track season.
As a teammate, I try to always be encouraging and positive because I know what it's like to be the one needing those things. I work hard to make sure I am well-prepared on the track and in the classroom!
