Hello, my name is Abigail Jacobson and I'm sixteen years old. I began my track career at the age of nine. I ran for a club team, Cumberland, North Yarmouth Track and Field, until I was fourteen. In those five years I won multiple individual state championships, as well as qualifying for national level meets. In my first year of highschool I was apart of my schools varsity track team, and placed in three events in my first ever high school state meet. In my sophomore indoor season I received two second places in the 55m and 200m at the indoor state championships. My team won the state championship that year (with only seven athletes on the roster.) In my outdoor season of my sophomore year I placed 7th in the 100m, 3rd in the 200m, and I anchored the 4x100m relay which placed 4th. I'm currently in my Junior year of highschool. I'm favored to win the state championship this year. Besides track I play varsity high school soccer, where I commonly play striker and the occasional midfield. I've spent over half my life running competitively and I've always had a passion for track, and would love to expand my track career to the collegiate level.
