2021 Highlights
2020 HighlightsFrom a young age all I wanted to do was run. In 6th grade I began to compete and soon realized running was so much more fun when competing with and against other girls. After 5 plus years of running, I look forward to practice or my daily runs that carry me through the challenges of school and our current Covid-19 crisis. While training on the country roads near my home in Maine is incredible, running with a team is my all time favorite. Running with others pushes me to run better and farther, and I am always excited when teammates excel and succeed with their own goals. There may be other recruits with better times, but I will bring dedication to running that stems from my background of being raised on a small farm. I know how important hard work and dedication is to achieving a goal. Anything is possible with the right mind set, work ethic and skill. I know that running in college will be a small segment of my life overall and academics will be what prepares me for a career in life. However, I plan to make running a part of my routine for years to come.
