We moved to Canada when I was two years old. I started with competitive gymnastics at the age of five and continued with that for nine years. Gymnastics taught me the skills of hard work and discipline. My first experience with track was in grade five, and since then every year I've been the city champion in the 100m and 200m events. My dream is to compete in track&field at the collegiate level. Combining my love for sport with academics will be a dream come true. My hope is to become a physical therapist or sports nutritionist. I have received the coaches award for most valuable athlete for the junior varsity track and field team in Gr 9 as well as Gr 10. I also play rugby for our varsity team as well as 7's rugby.I believe that I have a great work ethic and is willing to train hard. I was born in South Africa, but Brandon Manitoba is my new home. I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, mountain biking, but my absolute favorite is wakeboarding. Hopefully in 2017 my new home for the next few years could be a University in the U.S.A.
