Brunell Owusu '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Brunell Owusu. I'm a rising Senior in high school and I'm hoping to run Track & Field at the collegiate level in fall of 2025. My collegiate goals and aspirations are to create new personal best's, build new connections and a community within the track team, and be someone you can always count on. What makes me different from other recruits is I'm dedicated, attentive, passionate, willing to try anything, and put in the work. People say I'm very approachable and someone they can trust off ease. I always try to be that person that puts smiles on others faces and makes them feel good about themselves. I'm 2024 4A Pole Vault State Champion, 2023 3A West Regional 4x1 Champion, and after running the 400 3 times ever my PR is 58.70  Academically, I finished my 2 year nursing program at CTC and am now a certified nursing assistant and geriatrics nursing assistant. I've volunteered in SGA, FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), and was Vice President of The Future Medical Health Professionals club. I'm enrolled in 2 AP classes my senior year and will be taking dual enrollment as well. I'm so excited to see what my last year in high school has in store for me and I can't wait to figure my next 4 years after.
