Jordyn Shipley '26 Recruiting Profile

I am a student at Linganore High School in Mt. Airy, MD.  I am the top girls thrower in my school with a discus throw length of 111'4 and a shot put throw of 32'10.5", which are major improvments from my freshman year PR's being 97'2 and 26'4.5". This year I plan on doing both indoor and outdoor track and field to further improve my throwing along with training on the side with my coach Deb Waxman. Along with training I am actively lifting, my PR's include 345lb squat, 285lb dead lift, 155lb bench, and 155lb hang clean. I look forward to improving my throwing this year and can't wait to see what the future holds for me!
