I started XC and track my freshman year with 0 knowledge of running, luckily from day 1, I was surronded by great teammates and coaches. They taught me how to become a better a runner. That is one thing I try to do for new freshman when they join the team. I try to introduce them to the team and be the best role model I can be for them. My goals are to become a great runner that helps benefit the team, to reach our goal, I want to be a part of a team that knows they can do it with no doubt in their mind. When in college I want to study biology or maybe math but also graphic design, I still haven't chosen yet but am leaning more towards biology. I love setting goals for myself because it helps me on track like my goal academiclly is to try to put myself out there more academically and find a true career path, while for xc my goal is sub 21 minute 5k and also medal in states. I'm a good canidate for a xc team because I try my hardest and won't stop til we are done, I want to keep up with team rather then drag them down even it means I have to work 10% harder each day. I also love the energy of competition and feelings you have being with a team which makes the race even better knowing you have people relying on you to help push yourself.
