I’m a rising senior at St. Charles High School in Waldorf, MD (Class of 2022). I am an honor student and a sprinter/jumper.
Academics – I currently have a 4.375 GPA (cumulative). I have received As in all my courses since entering high school. I have taken three AP classes and all of my non-elective classes have been Honors classes. I became a member of the National Honor Society during my sophomore year. During my senior year, I will be dually enrolled at the College of Southern Maryland. When I graduate, I plan to major in Criminal Justice.
Athletics – I began running track when I was 12 years old with the Comets of Charles County. I joined my high school team during my freshman year. During my sophomore year I received the Sportsmanship of the Year award and I have received the Scholar Athlete Award every year. I run the 55m, 100m and relays, but my loves are the long and triple jumps.
Volunteer – I am an active volunteer in my community. I led the historical document archiving project in the Office of the General Counsel at National Public Radio (NPR); have assisted the PT Techs at SportsPro Physical Therapy; and served as Teen Lead with the Southern Pearls of Prince George's County, assisting with yearly backpack and book drives, Soles for Souls, and multiple MLK Days of Service, Christmas in April, and Tabata Fitness Community Training.
