Nina Katz '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Nina Katz and I run cross country and distance for track at my public school, Longmeadow High School. Running has taught me a great deal about pushing your limits and how to challenge my mental thoughts of negativity. This has allowed me to grow as a person and to set example for other runners. I started running the summer of 2016 going into my freshman year so I could participate in a new sport and meet new people. I did not realize I would soon discover a sport that would stick with me as long as my legs could move and teach me skills that not many other sports can give you. I intend on running in college and teaching my fellow athletes how to challenge that little voice in their head that tells you that you cannot do it.
