I have always loved sports and the mentality and community that comes with sports. Before starting cross country, I played competitive lacrosse on a club team where I was taught many valuable lessons on how to improve my mentality as an athlete. I still carry the advice that I was gifted with me on the track today. When I first quit lacrosse, I felt lost until I found cross country. I immediately knew that cross country was where I belonged. I have been on Pentucket's cross country team, indoor track team, and outdoor track team since freshman year. I have also had the amazing experience of going to Northeast Kingdom Running Camp with my team last year, and next year, I will have the honor of being a cross country captain. My goals as an athlete are to always strive to be better, to be the best leader, and to never give up or settle.
