I am a 5'2 distance runner from New Hampshire who has been running competitively for seven years. I am currently a junior and have run varsity cross country, indoor and spring track since my freshman year. For the past two years, I have qualified for All-States in cross-country as an individual, and I have been awarded the CAC League MVP since freshman year. In indoor and spring track, I have qualified for states in the two mile since freshman year. I hold my high school's records for cross country, and for the two mile in winter and spring track. In addition, I participated in the Jr. Olympics the summer of 2012.
I am a dedicated, hardworking student and athlete. I have been told by several coaches that I am the most coachable member of my team, and that I lead by example.
I am very open-minded regarding college size and location. That said, I would prefer liberal-arts schools in the Northeast with under 15,000 students. I am mostly interested in rural and suburban school locations, although I am willing to be in an urban atmosphere. Ideally, I would like to be a contributing member to my team beginning as a freshman, and I am completely willing to compete in any division.
