Sofia Del Vecchio...Personal Statement
Ever since I ran in my first track and field meet at the age of 10, I knew without a doubt that I wanted to run and compete at the college level. I believe that competing in Track and Field has made me confident and strong, both mentally and physically. I am a hard working student who has always maintained good relationships with my teachers, peers, and teammates. Because of my strong leadership abilities, willingness to help others and my consistently strong athletic performances, I was voted Captain of all three of my Senior year teams (Cross Country, Indoor Track and Field, and Outdoor Spring Track and Field). I am enthusiastic about the sport and look forward to have the opportunity to participate at the college level.
