My name is Lily Carlyon. I am currently an 12th grader at Flushing High School. My goal is to one day run for a D1 college track team. My whole life I’ve aspired to be a track athlete beyond high school. I’ve grown up riding horses, running track, and ski racing. Doing all of these different sports has given me the opportunity of being on a team and learning how to become well rounded and have many experiences to shape me into the team player and athlete I am today. I currently have a 3.66 and am a part of many extracurricular activities such as Rotary Interact, and Varsity club. This past 2019 indoor track year I qualified for Michigan Indoor Track States in the 400m, 200m, 60HH, 4x200, 4x400 and SMR. I currently hold in the Michigan Indoor Track 400mH record at 73 seconds. I ran a personal record of 9.15 and was Michigan Elite and made Michigan High school All Time list as well. In my outdoor track season I run the 100HH, 300LH, 4x1 and 4x4. I am currently ranked 7th in the state of Michigan for the 100HH at a 15.26. I am also ranked 11th in the state for the 300LH at a 47.28. I have ran many races over the year and have become a well rounded athlete and team player. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope to hear from you.
