I have set many goals for this event in my life and have been working very hard to check every one of them off my list. My first goal was to get every veterinarian experience that I could. Second I want to run in college. I started shadowing vets when I was twelve years old and have kept a journal of everything that I have learned, observed, performed hands on, and how much time I spent at each event. I have spent a large number of hours working with both small and large animal veterinarian alike. I joined the Vetquest 4-H Club when I was old enough and started working with Dr. Robyn Limberg-Child who has been the biggest mentor to me and given me invaluable experiences. I have attended every animal science workshop, class, or event that I can and have traveled around the state to do it. This has led me to many leadership opportunities to teach the vet science experiences I have learned, including a presentation I gave to Baker College Vet Tech students!
