My parents and grandparents, have been big role models throughout my whole life. They have influenced me to be the person that I am today. They push me to achieve my goals both; athletically and educationally. My 7th grade year is when I started running track. The reason I decided to start running track is because on my dads side almost everyone ran track even my grandpa, so I just thought why not try it out? Ever since that day I have ran track and absolutely love it. I love the heart rush waiting for the gun in your block and I love the nervous and anxious feeling you get before you race. While running track I have learned that there are many ups and downs throughout this sport but that just strives me to push myself harder every race. Track is not the only thing I work hard on, School also means a lot to me. My academic goal as a High School student is to graduate with a GPA above a 3.4 and go to college at a school that is best fit for me athletically and academically. When I go off to college my academic goal is to keep my GPA above a 3.5 and find a major or minor that will position me well for my future.
