ActivitiesClubs: Athletes for Christ Club Track and XC captain- starts every track practice before warmups with a prayer Mea serves at the girls’ Mass on Wednesdays Earth and Service Club- - secretary Recycling bins in all the classrooms Events: Meals on Wheels/Sock drive: Mea's involvement in Oakland and Livingston County Meals on Wheels program has been one that she brought from a family childhood tradition and now she organizes the volunteer work with families of St. Mary’s. For the 4th year in a row, our school group delivers hundreds of meals and blizzard boxes in late fall to homebound seniors. The community has been so grateful to see the smiling and friendly faces of the students who often sit and visit with them for a bit. Card Writing- for kids in the hospital Volunteer: St. Mary’s- tutoring 9th grade French/math Open house, freshman orientation, athletic night- track/XC table Art on the Lake- event setup supporting the artist booths St. Mary’s- Collecting and wrapping gifts for families in need at Christmas Meals on Wheels- National Stuttering Association- volunteered as a leader in the kids & family program Babysitting- CPR certified Elderly Home- maintenance- Scraping paint from the exterior of the building Work: local restaurant as hostess, babysitting for family and friends
