Dear Coaches,

I am writing to express my collegiate goals and aspirations, as well as to highlight why I believe I would be an excellent addition to your team. My primary objective is to contribute to the success of the team while pursuing my academic and athletic passions.

In terms of athletics, my commitment to disciplined training, both on and off the field, sets me apart. I bring not only a strong work ethic but also versatility to the team. My adaptability allows me to contribute effectively in various areas, providing the flexibility needed for a dynamic and successful team. Being a diverse athlete, as well as competing in multis. I am confident in my ability to make meaningful contributions that align with the team's objectives.

Yes. Honors Perspective in American Literature: Reading comprehension is a critical skill required for this course. One indicator of this skill is the MCA Reading Test. Honors Perspectives in American Literature has been developed to challenge, enrich, accelerate, and extend learning for students who have demonstrated high skills, task commitment, interest, and ability in Language Arts. A number of creative, expository, and analytical writing assignments will be required. Honors Biology: Students will explore and communicate about the living world through study of real world phenomena in accordance with state standards. General areas of in-depth exploration include: homeostasis, genetics, ecology, evolution, and human interaction with the world around them. Lab work can include: biochemistry, cell biology, computer simulations, plant and human physiology, and a rat dissection. Students will engage in lively discussions and collaborative activities, as well as individual reflection, asse
Are you in AP/IB classes?
Yes. AP US History: AP U.S. History is a college-level course in which students build their analytical skills and factual knowledge through extensive textbook and supplementary reading, and formal writing. It moves at a rigorous pace requiring students to study an average of 10-15 hours a week. CIS Spanish (Juntos Program): The structure of the Spanish language continues to be stressed through review and expansion of the four basic skills; recommended achievement of B- or higher in Spanish 3. There is more emphasis on developing writing skills through compositions.

  • Awards- In 6th grade I got Academic Excellence - 7th-9th Grade I was in an advanced Spanish program. My 9th grade year is when it became an AP class. 10th grade and above is when the program continues as a CIS class. - Im enrolled in AP and Honors classes. My Junior High graded off of an IB system. Going into high school grades 10-12th is graded off of standard grading. - My weighted GPA is a 4.0 and my Unweighted GPA is a 4.03. - Ever since 7th grade I've been apart of/and engaged in the club North Speaks out, this is a school funded club. We discussed many topics, from sexual harassment to reducing our schools carbon footprint.
  • Activities- I acolyte in my community church St. George's Episcopal Church. - I am involved in multiple clubs including: Ceramics Club, Earth Club, etc. - I started my own club surrounding volunteering around the city and offering services for many different situations. (Restorative Culture Student Committee)
