The best part of Track and Field is looking back on the workouts, meets, and experiences with teammates that have enabled me to be the tenacious athlete I am today. I have worked hard to improve my times throughout my high school career as any other student athlete, of course, but where I differ from others is my reliability, ambition, sportsmanship, and the willingness to take risks and put my heart and devotion into every teammate, practice, meet, and competitor. I believe this makes me a good candidate for any highly competitive team, as I have the determination and passion necessary. Though I am serious about my love for Track and Field, I also go into every practice and meet with a smile on my face and the greatest amount of support for every team member. Being a leader on the team, I know I influence others with the positivity I radiate. Academically I am hungry for success and I am always looking for a challenge because I value my education highly. Grades are important, yes, but the intellectual connection established with others because of the attained knowledge has always driven me to succeed in and out of the classroom. I strongly believe that I could accomplish a lot on a close-knit highly competitive college team.
