Alyssa Carver '25 Recruiting Profile

I started pole vaulting in July of 2020.  Since then, it is something that I have been extremely passionate about.  My dream to be a collegiate athlete started at the age of 7 in USAG gymnastics where I competed for 8 years and has now transferred into my pole-vaulting career.

I love being able to grow, develop connections with my teammates and help lead them to success along with myself.  I strive to be constantly improving, even if it is the smallest of improvements.  I try my best to look at every little correction as a big accomplishment.

I train year-round, participating in club vault at Olympus Vault Academy.  I also vault for my high school during the spring. I strive to be my best in the classroom and push myself academically through many honors classes. Every year my goal is to maintain all A’s and a 4.0 GPA.

I am busy with extra curricular activities by staying involved with my church as well as a youth group.  I am also on the yearbook committee for my school and enjoy taking pictures for my youth group events.
