Harper Karr '25 Recruiting Profile

I began my track career as a 7th grade student and have enjoyed running sprints and mid-distance. I feel I really came into my element when I entered high school and began to throw the javelin. I have had the opportunity to throw with amazing D1 athletes and hope to continue my career at the collegiate level as well.I pride myself on being a hard-worker, a true team player, and excpetionally coachable.  I am a well rounded student participating in softball and basketball as well. I am my junior class secretary, an active member of the student council, and president elect of HOSA. I have been student of the month at my high school and career and techical center and was the sophomore student of the year for my entire high school. I was recently inducted into the NHS and Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Societies. I hope to attend a highly selective university where I can excel both academically and athletically. I have a strong passion for sports and thrive in competitive settings!
