Hello, my name is Trista Lisek and I go to Willard High School located in Willard Mo. I am on the Cross Country team and we are a division 4 team. Our Conference is COC, which is Central Ozarks Conference. I know a lot of people want to run Cross Country in college and get scholarships, but what I want the most is to share a new experience with new people that I can bond with and get really close to. I want to be part of a second family and get through the struggles and beautiful moments together. I love Cross Country with all my life, it has changed who I am today. If I didn't ever try Cross Country, I wouldn't have known the enjoyment of it. I also wouldn't have met so many cool people. I like running for a team and getting to know more about myself with and without my team. I like sharing the enjoyment of achievements with my teammates and I just absolutely love the atmosphere when I am running on a course with them. Running Cross Country is an adventure, that you don't know where it will take you and that is what I love about it. You get to have fun, while doing something you love and dream about. Even if people say oh well it's not that big of a deal if you didn't do that good in today's meet, it will always be a big deal. That's why no matter what I always try my best to bring what I got! I also want to take my experiences and travel the world. I want to take pictures of new things and introduce/train people in Cross Country. I also would like the privilege to go to Africa and adopt 3 or 4 kids there, while helping out in the orphanages there. I want to change peoples lives, no matter what, who, or where they are located. My grades are good too, right now I have a GPA, of 3.6. I try everything I can to work hard in and out of school, sports, and being the best person I can be to me and others around me. And I would love the opportunity to get a chance to know you and your fellow team, at a college level. My best 5k time is 24:48.80. I have worked super hard to get that and I am working on droping even more time!
