I was born fast. Any race in elementary complemented my speed. From there I competed for my middle school’s track team. I knew I had potential for greatness with my track career when I received first places, second places, thirds and fourths. It was so natural to me. Never have I ever lost a race. Now I will compete for my high school’s track team and continue to shine in my natural gift.
Here I am, (in my senior year compared to the last paragraph as a freshman). I've completed a full junior year track season, and only competed at one meet my sophomore season; none freshman year. In my 2023 season I achieved 4 state qualifications. | competed at state and helped contribute to my schools winning title in the 4×2 relay. I also competed in the 4x1 relay as well as my two individual events; the 100m dash and the 300mh. By the end of the season, I was able to reach a 13.18 in the open 100 and I'm steadily getting faster in the 300mh with a time of 48.67 seconds.
I hope to continue strengthening my speed, skills, performance, and persistence. And to possibly find a college that allows for me to be successful at their level of competition. I hope for good things this year and to take a step into what might be the next level.
