Mia McClaine '25 Recruiting Profile

Having competed on Varsity Cross Country and Track since the seventh grade has taught me how to take on a leadership role as well as managing my time successfully. Being the team captain for the past three years is a result of my sense of Responsibility  and dedication to my work. My specific area of interest is child psychology. My plan is to study early childhood development and psychology in college next fall. Last school year I participated in a full year special education internship through the art department at Colonie High School and completely adored every second of it. Being employed at The Little Gym of Colonie as a gymnastics coach for the past 2 years has helped me discover my love for helping children succeed and grow, mentally and athletically. I have earned a 3.7 GPA in school and continue to push myself everyday. I am looking forward to a more personalized training plan to help better my athletic career.
