Lauren Addario '20 Recruiting Profile

I’ve always enjoyed athletics. From the early age of 6 I was involved in club gymnastics and this gave me a great foundation for my track career. When I was in 5th grade I participated in a district wide beginner track competition and it was then that my track coaches first noticed me.  I never looked back.  

I enjoy the camaraderie that  sports brings. I love being part of a team, competing hard and cheering on my teammates. I am currently captain of my varsity gymnastics team and love providing leadership and support for my team!

As much as I enjoy high school athletics, I’m also looking forward to the next chapter of my life. I want to continue the pursuit of my track career in a challenging environment that will push me to get better. 

I am also looking forward to building my career foundation through a solid academic program.  

Lastly, I want to be a part of a team and school where I can be immersed in a multicultural environment. This is very important to me. I think we, as a society, become stronger through such diversity.
