My goals and aspirations for college are to obtain a higher education focused on criminal justice; meet new people who are passionate about their work, with whom I can learn and acquire better skills. I am also interested in actively participating in society and making my university experience the best possible. I am a persevering, competitive, loyal, honest, responsible, patient and very hard-working person. My best qualities are strength and endurance. I am always willing to go the extra mile to achieve my goals, because I am confident that these skills will help me continue to progress in life and become a valuable person to my community. I consider myself a serene person, that is, I remain calm in the face of difficulties and analyze the situation to make better decisions. Something that differentiates me from others is my tenacity in achieving the things I set my mind to and that prevents me from giving up in the face of difficulties. All of these qualities are also reflected in my academic studies. Although this is my second year living in the United States and English is not my first language,I have maintained a 93.26 GPA and have not failed any of my classes. Additionally, thanks to my outstanding academic achievements at Spackenkill High School, I am now a member of the National Society of High School Scholars.
