Gabrielle McKenzie '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Gabrielle McKenzie, and I am currently a junior at Niagara Wheatfield High School. I'm interested in competing in Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field at the collegiate level, as well as cross country. In the 2022 Outdoor season I finished with a score of 1514 in the pentathlon, and the following year, I improved to 2152 in the pentathlon. In cross country, I went from a 28:02 3.0 mile in 2022 to a 21:34 in 2023, and from a 27:33 5k in 2022 to a 22:03 5k in 2023. I am a hard worker and have drastically improved over the last several years. I have also been awarded 2nd team League All Stars 2023 in track and 1st team League all stars 2023 in cross country. In addition, during the 2023 cross country season I was awarded the all Western New York Sportsmanship Award. So far in the 2024 outdoor season, I have jumped 16'6 in the long jump, and have consistently been over 16 at my last few meets. I recently did a pent at the Batavia Invitational in NY on 5/4, earning 2367 points. I recently completed my 2024 outdoor season, earning first-team All League honors, and finishing third in Section VI. I improved to 2612 this season in pent, a 28'4.75 in the shotput, 16.66 in the 100HH, and a 16"9.5" in the long jump. Over a period of three seasons, I have improved over 1000 points in the pentathlon, several seconds in the hurdles, and several feet in the long jump.
