I am an honors student with a 4.0, and have been on the head master’s honor roll every semester. I have taken the most challenging course load offered to me and participate with several community, charitable and professional growth organizations where I hold leadership positions. I never thought of myself as a leader but my coaches and teachers made me varsity cross country captain as an eighth grader, track captain as a sophomore, and I was elected Head Delegate. My style is to lead from the front and try to be the example of what I wish to see in others, on the track or in the classroom.
I cannot imagine going to college and not being part of a track team. Running is the absolute best part of my day and competing is essential to my fulfillment mentally and personally. I hope to join a team of motivated and like-minded people that can help me develop into the best version of myself. I want to contribute to my team in any way I can. Currently I am able to run mid and long distance events, including hurdles, in order to score the most points for the team and would be willing to consider any events that my coach thinks I would excel in.
I would like to attend a liberal arts college or university and will likely major in exercise physiology or related sciences with a goal of pursuing a career in medicine and healthcare. I am most interested in a strong academic and team environment to maximize my educational and athletic development.
