My name is Molly Grabois and I am a rising senior at Syosset High School. I came across running when I was around 6 years old, competing in the Our Lady Of Mercy Track program. Once I joined Syosset's Track & Field team in 7th grade, I have loved it ever since. During the Spring of my freshman year, I stumbled upon the Triple Jump which soon became one of my main events. Working hard with myself, my coach, and my teammates helped me build up my confidence and determination. In response to that, my sophomore winter season resulted in me earning an All-Conference title and placing 5th at the county championship. I recently began training with Island Elite Jumping in hopes of improving my triple jump distance. In addition to jumping, I also have made it far with my sprints. During my spring season of Freshman year, I acquired a PR of 14.1 seconds in the 100m. With the help of my teammates and coach, I trained hard during my sophomore winter season in preparation of spring and earned a .6-second PR of 13.5 seconds in the 100m. This helped me get moved up into the scoring category at my races including also being brought upon the 4x1 relay group. Besides running, I also have a passion for History. This includes taking harder History courses in school and being a tutor for my friends who require help in their classes. Once in college, I hope to study hard to become a history teacher. I am excited to continue working hard academically and to continue this sport at a collegiate level.
