Tiara Johnson '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tiara Johnson and I am will be a Junior this upcoming year at Western Harnett High in Lillington NC. In pursuit of finding a college that will be my home for 4 years I'm looking for a place that feels like a family. I've been competing in Track and Field for 9 years and I still get the same excitement I had in year one. I always bring a positive attitude with everything I do, I take criticism very well whether positive or negative and turn it into something great. I lead by example by doing the small things right so I leave footprints for someone coming behind me. With all my accomplishments on the track I am most proud to be a scholar in the classroom. I take my education very seriously because one day I may not be able to run and jump so I want to be able to rely on my intelligence but while I can run and jump I'm going to give it everything I have. This past season I was awarded the "MVP" in Outdoor Track along with the "Longest Long Jump" of the season for a second year in a row.
