Personal Statement

My name is Kristen Roberts and I aspire to run track in college. Athletics and academics are both equally important to me. I would like to go to a college with coaches and teachers that push me to strive in the classroom and on the track. My goals this track season are to qualify for the state meet, improve my 400 meter time to 59 seconds, improve my 100 meter time to 12.5 seconds, and improve my 200 meter time to 26.5 seconds. I believe that God has given me the passion to run. It would be a great opportunity to continue pursuing that passion at a college level.

Training with Isaiah Richardson and Robyn McElwee

Isaiah Richardson assisted with personal training with blocks and acceleration plus personally worked twice weekly on weight training November 2018-February 2019. Working with Isaiah on Sunday afternoons for block technique and acceleration training. Robyn McElwee is owner of Crazy Running and puts together an offseason running and conditioning plan for Kristen as well as a training plan for weights/strength conditioning during track season. Isaiah has created a 4/week weight training schedule since Spring 2021 - Fall 2021. Isaiah continues providing weight/strength training plans in 2022.
